First week of work is finally over!!!! Ahhhh.. Who says that first week of work is just like orientation? NOT AT ALL. My first week is info overloading, 8 hours sitting in front of TWO desktops, dragging files here and there with different desktop brightness. My eye is gonna pop out soon before I noticed @@ Maybe I should consider wearing my specs to office, but I don't look professional with my specs on.... Macam mana wei... Ish.

Fortunately, everyone's very friendly in my work place, nice boss, willing to teach supervisor and funny colleagues. Office politics? hmm.. Well, I'm just a tiny winy character in the office. I guess as well as I keep it low I should be safe? lol...

A few things I like about my job:

- Smooth traffic!!! I LOVE the traffic in the morning the most! super satisfied! I don't need to be caught in the jam like others in the morning~ Oh I feel so blessed~ (work place: Cyberjaya)

- Food provided by company! not only lunch. I'm talking about breakfast at 10a.m. lunch at 12p.m and tea break at 4p.m. I guess I'm gonna gain weight easily real soon. oh no~

- Very near to community centre/Club House which enable me to swim occasionally after work~ I need the pool very much to relax my stiff neck after so many hours sitting in front of the pcS.

I'm going to be all ALONE in my department on the coming two days. Colleagues left for holiday. I hope everything will be fine, cross fingers. Gambateh!!! Good luck to every freshies out there who are working as well! =)

Hi people, I've been eating and sleeping a lot these days :S I can definitely feel how those unemployed feel right now. Well, I guess I need to stop being so choosy! Life is meaningless without nice food. Never underestimate their power! Food can literally control my mood, good? bad? Hmm... Anyway, these food kept me active and motivated for the past few weeks =)

My long craved Garrett's popcorn! My favourite snack here~ they offer a variety of flavours: cheese, caramel, macadamia, almond, butter, & plain. Some might find caramel too sweet, depends on individual...

They serve the biggest popcorn I've ever seen... You'll really get full after munching some of them..

ah... Dessert, my all time fav~ Ikea's Daim chocolate slice! I heart. =)

Yup, saya seorang ambil itu bus Aeroline yang berharga RM92 ke Singapura untuk pergi interview. Harga tak mahal sangat kan? haha Excuse itu bahasa pasar... Lama tak guna, mahu practice-practice =)

Well, out of gazillion application to SG, i finally got 1 reply -_-'' So saddening but it makes me feel very happy. They called me and want me to attend interview on the next day~ Oh my Mama! so i just postponed 1 day for the interview. And here I am now in a foreign country. Getting a job in foreign country is really SOMETHING. From past experiences from seniors, 98% spend their whole month in SG waiting. They returned to Msia eventually :S Well, I'm not as good as my seniors but I just wanna try my luck here. Not sure how good is my luck here ? I have a strong feeling that I will end up like past seniors... :S well, at least I put in my fullest effort to try to get a job here, no regrets in the future =) But what I can say so far is that, IT AIN'T EASY AT ALL~ Sigh. Nothing comes easily eh?

Thank goodness for all the encouragement and mental support given by my aunt, uncle, family members and of course not forgetting my loved one=) Without them, I'm already k.o.-ed one hundred percent!

This movie is directed by James Cameron who is the creator of Titanic and Avatar! I'm a super big fan for both movies! Actually, the poster didn't really attract my interest. But, after realizing that the movie is directed by creator of Titanic & Avator, that's it, i'm so gonna watch it. And yes, it's definitely worth watching! I love it! =) I watched Sanctum in 3D, it really brings me in to the picture!

Taken on area off the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. Sanctum utilizes 3D digital photography techniques developed in creating "Avatar". Created to perform in severe conditions, the engineering employed in the action-thriller provides viewers on a breathless quest throughout crashing cliffs and towards the furthermost reaches in subterranean earth.

Both of us are Japanese food lovers. So, I decided to try the new shop in town: Hokkaido Ichiba. It's located @ third floor of The Gardens, Midvalley. As you can see the design of words, it is operated under the same management of Sushi Zanmai and Pasta Zanmai. I guess Hokkaido Ichiba targets higher income populations as foods are priced higher than both Sushi & Pasta Zanmai.

Oh My God!! Desserts are my all time fav!!! I'm very excited when i saw those pictures. 1 thing that got me so high is, they even have a separate menu for desserts! Oh my~ If im allowed to, i'll camp there just to try all their desserts :p

we ordered this strawberry ice cream waffle! I love~ U must try their ice-cream! I think ice-creams are 1 of their bombs! U can taste the fresh strawberries from every mouth of ice-cream. yum~

Then, it was tea time! Eat again! hehe. I found out that there is this new French style bread shop located @ Jalan Delima, KL (LeVain Boulangerie Patisserie). So, we went there to explore after reading so many reviews about this shop.

mini chocolate coated croissant. This is not really my type. But, it impressed my youngest sister alot~. According to her, it tastes like cotton candy? But i don't think so~ hehe.

What to eat on Vday? We actually booked Nagomi cause they have specially designed a lover's bento only for that day. However, we cancelled it last minute cuz we just had Jap cuisine few days ago. So, the choice was Seoul Korea @ Taman Danau Desa. I think i blog-ed about this restaurant before. Well, nice food deserves the next try =)

BBQ marinated pork. He likes it.

Tuk Bok Ki. This is too spicy for me. For those who can really take spicy food, u can try this. From my opinion, i think this dish is a Korean version of Chee Cheong Fun.

Ginseng chicken soup. A whole spring chicken is stuffed with barley and rice and boiled with some ginseng and dates into a soup. I like~! Healthy and tasty! =)

They serve 12 different side dishes! The exciting part is, all side dishes can be refilled, UNLIMITEDLY...muahahhahah :p

our BBQ pork. U don't need to cook it yourself. Waiters will do it for you to prevent us from over-cooking it. How nice =)

These things got me waiting at home for whole day~! He said that they were supposed to deliver them by lunch. BUT they only arrived around 4pm :S So, i was there waiting waiting waiting till i fell asleep... ha. I guess they were having too many customers that day.

But i guess it's worth the wait ;)

After dinner, Desa Park City was next to help us digest our food. We arrived around 10pm, the park was quite pack at that hour! So many people/lovers were there, no joke! The car park was so full till we need to spend some time searching for an empty space.

Life is really all about ADAPTATION.

Hi guys, stop hunting me~ Some of u guys have been hunting me from day till night, asking me about my arrival date. Lol. That's so sweet of u guys, but chill~ i will see u guys when it's time :p

Yes, i've left Melbourne not long ago. BUT, whether or not i'm in Msia, i'm not too sure about it :p One of my sis is going to further her studies in Singapore, so i need to help her settle down there b4 returning to Msia for good =) So.... let fate determine if we could meet. haha.

Regarding my "ADAPTATION" post, i really have to adapt back to our own culture - the Malaysian culture. Im kinda used to the Australian culture where i expect sales person/cashier to greet me upon paying or browsing through products. I don't get any of these treatment after i return to Msia~ That's quite sad. I don't even get a glance from the cashier! I remember they used to stick a tag in front of the cash box saying that "tell me if i forget to smile", i'm wondering if i should do that? ahaha. i guess they will throw me a dagger look? lol.

In OZ, Cashiers can even afford to have short chat with customers without slowing down the procedures. But in Msia, you can listen to conversation among the Cashiers with long queues waiting -_-'' Are they blind or what?! I will really run out of patience seeing people working in such a slow pace. Well, i guess this is so called the Malaysian culture? slow, but not steady, lengang, and of course their favourite word "relax lah" -_-''

I used to be so afraid and reluctant to accept the open-ness of Australians but now, I miss the way that i'm able to just smile and talk to random people while walking on the road in OZ. They are actually very friendly people. I guess Msians will call the police if i approach anyone of them asking "how are you today, the weather is nice, isn't it"? haha. I guess this is all because of the rising crime rate in our country, shaping us into a over-protective behaviour. Sigh~

Another thing, my driving skill is super-duper-unbelievably-sux to the max! I tried side-parking, i failed so badly! I used to accelerate like nobody's business, cut queues and drive "zig-zag-ly" on the road. But today, i drive on left lane, which is for the slow, turtle drivers -_-'' Jesus! "How could this happen to me" (by Simple Plan) hahha. Oh, I so need to regain my confident in driving~tutorial, anyone? ha

Been socializing quite alot these days... Mostly meeting up with friends in the city before heading back to our home country. Everyone's going back so sooon~ ahhh. We are all going to start a brand new chapter of our life. new direction. new path. new experience. So, we better have a cup of coffee now before everyone change to become a more mature and busy people where we need to make appointments to meet up in the future :p

First gathering was with Pao and Jess. We hanged out in the city and went to Pao's place to taste her virgin Oreo Cheesecake~ As you can see, presentation is perfect. what about the taste? I can guarantee you that u'll definitely want another slice = )

We started preparing from 1 pm till 8pm~ Phew. I can't feel my legs after standing for more than 6 hours. Jis... But, the outcome was more than satisfying. So,.... *smiles* ~

Just a short update on my trip to Queensland. Also, to provide some details regarding Tangalooma for your reference in the future =)

we visited University of Queensland. ALL of us like the uni very much! Monash is soooo out. We took 2 hours to walk around the whole uni!

The earth science museum. They have different kind of museum. This is just 1 of them.

Then we headed to Meleny, on the way to Sunshine coast.

They call this as kite surfing. Looks kinda cool. But u need strength to balance yourself. I would love to try next time if i have the chance =)

Then it's dinner time. My aunt cook us long bean with XO sauce and 'xiu yuk' It's awesome~!! i really miss home cook food =(

After dinner, it's karaoke session~It''s been so long since i last touch the mic!!!! OMG... We sang our lungs out for that night... hope the neighbours won't mind for our jakun-ness :p

Aunt Alice supplied us red wine too... She really treats her guest very well. Although she is yawning, yet she still sing with us.. Thank you so much!!!! I'll do my best to bring you around when u come to Msia in March =)

Then off we go to Tangalooma, Moreton Island for our vacation....=) The first activity was dolphin feeding!

Although we all know that dolphins are friendly and cute but when u really go near them and see them swimming just a few inches away from you, i actually felt scared for a minute. ahhaa. I'm serious! U need to bend down and put the fish into their mouth as thou their biting your hand. So, that makes me scared a little :p We are not supposed to touch them because they are wild dolphins. Wild dolphins can't take human's virus. So we are actually harming them if we touch them. Lesson learned.

Then, it's sand tobogganing time! The most looked forward activity =) cost: $35 (inclusive of 4WD desert safari)

I really had lotssss of funnn!!!!! It's so hard to really have fun nowadays.. So, can u imagine how happy i was when i slide down from the top? indescribable =)

ATV Quad Tour. The boys definitely enjoyed themselves. Well, the girls enjoyed alot too! =) cost: $50 for 45 minutes.

4WD Northern Safari tour incorporating the Blue Lagoon. This is the wreck with lots of corals and fishy~ Those are actually rusty boat in the sea. Left behind after World War II. Historical place. cost: $58 (this tour takes in some of the most spectacular views of the island~)

The light house. The scenery up there is amazing!!!

It's a long journey along the coast... U can really enjoy the breeze and watch the waves. It's really relaxing. For that moment, i felt that there isn't any stress and pressure on me. I love that feeling. =)

Blue Lagoon. This place is special cuz the the water comes from rain.

I don't really know how to play tennis, but i enjoyed playing alot~ =) There are a range of free activities:

tennis, squash, archery, croquet, boule, table tennis, basketball, badminton, soccer, beach volleyball, cricket, helicopter workshop, board games, swim in resort pools, movie night, karaoke nights, Trivia night, bingo night, pelican feeding , kookaburra feeding fish feeding, night spotlight eco walk, flora and fauna bush walk, historical whaling station tour, and all kind of presentation.

This pic was taken last week, the day before Nicole leave to Msia. Everyone gave their own speech. I thought the session was to focus on Nicole, but these people sabo-ed me! They focused on me and Eddy instead! cuz we are not coming back to Australia next year...Thanks alot for the card and the touching speech, i can really feel the 'family' love for once. I don't really regard u guys as my friend or best friend cuz i think u guys are like my secondary family. The bond we share is way too strong.. Thank you so much for everything! I think it's beyond description to describe how thankful i am now.

The happy moments we spend together, i cherish much. I feel really lucky to meet them. Although we can only spend a year together, but i swear i will not forget u guys for the rest of my life~

The Myer Christmas Parade celebrates the start of the Christmas season each year, with the event returning for its fifth year in 2010. This event is considered as one of the biggest street Christmas party. Well, apart from the insane weather yesterday, we all had lots of fun. It's an eye opening event where we couldn't watch this back in our country.

It's raining for whole day long! my outfit really failed me badly. we were all soaked under the rain with extremely strong wind :S I guess i need to prepare to fall sick... *touch wood!*

And, it was Tulip Festival~ every1 has been posting lots of Tulip pics on FB. As for me, due to tight exam schedule, i didn't manage to visit the farm )= But thanks much to a friend of mine for bringing some Tulips back for me. That's really sweet~ =)

Then, Eddy's birthday it was! We gave him a surprise party @ Sofia's. I have to say something about Eddy H. He is the best guy ive ever met in my life. His 'species' is very rare, experiencing extinction in the world. lol. SERIOUSLY. He is actually a very simple guy. But his thoughts are NEVER simple. We always get unexpected answer from him which touches our heart. He makes me believe that there is still trustworthy guys outside. He makes me feel that there need not to have a reason for a guy to treat a girl good. He taught me how to deal with complicated re'ship. He escorts us girls home late at night W.O COMPLAINING. He doesn't want to go back home w.o us because he said that he is worried for our safety. =) We girls will definitely miss him soooooo much~

Finally, im able to steal a little bit of my time to go visit the Titanic Artefact Exhibition! Due to overwhelming response, they extended the exhibition period from end of Oct till 7th of November. We are lucky enough to get to purchase the last few tickets for the day! Phew~ The museum was very pack that day! Didn't know that museum can be soo attractive. Well, im comparing it with Malaysia's museum.. So 'cold', no visitors... lol. This shows how good is the movie -Titanic till everyone is willing to pay $20 just to enter and feel the touching story engraved on our mind!!

The exhibition is a true success where they hand each of us a boarding pass with real names! These names are passengers who board Titanic. It states which class you belonged to. It also states your background. So, you are able to truly feel your position on the ship. How cool is that! At the end of the day, we are able to check whether we survived or not. Three of us survived!!! That explains our 'happy' faces. ahahha

I finally able to make a variety of Sushi, SUCCESSFULLY!! yay! Im very happy cause ive tried once in Msia and i failed miserably, rice was either too dry or too sticky. This time, it's a one-time-success! = ) I guess it's due to the thirst of eating my favourite cuisine, JAP! That's why it motivated me unconsciously.. hehe.

The most important ingredient for Sushi, the Japanese rice! with added sugar, vinegar and pitch of salt.

My oh-so-professional Tamagoyaki (egg)! hahaha. Except for the tiny hole there. ha. Well, first time rolling 3 eggs together. Considered not bad right? ha.

Most of my housemates have gone back to their home country/went for holiday, so now left me and another hsemate at home. The house is sooooo quiet. I prefer it like that =) It's so relaxing ~Not that i dont like my housemates, i heart them, but sometimes we just need some silent moment, don't we?

So, what can we do at such a peaceful night? I decided to go get some red wine =) Then, all lights are off, house is very dark. Instead of using candles, we used our mini torch light to create a more romantic atmosphere while we drink. ahahha The feeling is not bad thou. So, there goes our chit chat~

The greatest complement to red wine ~! macadamia choco~ Ooohh My God~ [usher] lol.

We drank Brown Brother's Cienna. Recommended by RuiYang. I love the taste very much~! Alcohol content is not that high, its 6.5%. Surprisingly, my face did not turn red and i dont feel dizzy after drinking. Is it because of the weather? i don't know. cuz usually my face will turn red easily after drinking.

Soft shell crab sushi burger!!! Nothing special actually. But the taste of the combination is just great! Sushi rice+HUGE soft shell crab+vege+sauce = heaven~

Next, KFC! haha. What so nice about KFC? so far, i think KFC is worth eating in Australia if you compare in dollar to dollar basis. Oh well, like i say, if u compare dollar to dollar, it's kinda worth eating. Dont convert, it makes u :S able to eat 3 KFC meals in Msia.... lol

Another thing that makes me super duper happy!!!!! Im not sure if any1 noticed this cheesecake shop in Malaysia before? They use to have franchise in M'sia. Unfortunately, they bankrupt in Msia, lack of demand? But i love~ =) Good news is, i found this shop in Australia, specifically Frankston, my ulu area! How amazing!

One of my housemates is doing her Master program. So, i sneaked in with her to the postgrad's VIP room to study =p The room is superb! They have their own kitchen, with free flow of tea, Milo and coffee. Other than that, they have their own TV room, with a big flat screen TV, spacious room, and comfy sofas~ Also, they have their own computer lab and separate personal study room! Oh My God!!!! ive just finished watching 十分爱 - a Hong Kong movie via an online source. I don't think they screen it in Malaysia's cinema. Girls who have high hope and think that love is so wonderful shouldn't watch this movie man. It's soooo sooo soooo pathetic! Makes you wanna box the director of this movie! Makes you think that the world is so grey! Makes you think that you shouldn't trust guy at all! Makes you think that Love is a GAME! OMG. Such a negative influencing story! For those who just got enough money and had bought their iPhone 3G/3GS, don't be so upset, because..... the new iPhone4 is coming out soooooooo sooooooon~ lol! So, what's the latest feature? Lets see....

Yea, congrats that i finally fall sick here. Terrible thing is, i still need to take the bus to Clayton and transit to Caufiled in order to see the doctor. I'm back, i'm back! hahha. I'm back for good =) This time, i wanna show off my cooking skills! lol. SAY NO TO CUP NOODLES! they SUX!!!

1st yummy: chicken cutlet + potatoes + tomatoes! very Chinese ~

2nd yummy: Beef steak +traditional mushroom sauce + broccoli~! Very Western! This is the house's fav! yumz..

Go perfectly well with mint sauce! oh~

3rd yummy: pickled vegetables!! i LOVE this. (added vinegar, sugar, salt) its's sour+hot+sweet. girls fav! =)

4th yummy: Fruit yogurt! papaya+honeydew+apple+blueberry yogurt =) how can u resist? lol

Giant hailstorm strikes Melbourne, causing flooding and chaos.

It is reported that this is an extreme weather condition and something Melbourne hasn't experienced for quite some time. I actually planned to visit the city to do some pre-winter shopping. Looking at the condition now, i think i better stay at home and start my revision, which is good =)

This hailstorm has caused widespread damage, yet the locals seem to enjoying the rare-wild-weather. Look at the smiles on their face -_-''

This guy lagi so syiok sendiri. -_-'' The hail stones are as big as 5cm!! Imagine.
I don't really read news back home in Malaysia. So happened, i accidentally saw reporters reporting the live situation @ Melbourne while i'm cooking. Thank god i saw the news! Else i have no idea what's gonna happen tomorrow if i head to the city :s

Then, i saw another news, "Obey Tsunami Warnings" i'm like WTH. I seriously don't know about all these important issues till i browse the online news. People like me still happily eating caramel-macadamia ice-cream pulak -_-''. FYI, im located beside the beach! So, hallelluya, ahmitabha!

After reading all these news, i have a new thought. What's the point of earning so much of the big bucks, the pounds, the USD, the AUD, the SGD when your family is not with you to share the joy of success and spend time together? YES, i miss home now. *DAMN!I HATE NEWS*

Went over to Carmen's new apartment @ Mentari last week for so called farewell dinner. We had steamboat, yumcha, chit chat and.... hmm. I guess we did what people normally do. It's a great night together with the gang. We had Tommy's specially cooked noodles! Tasted nice but it's too spicy for me. Yea, i cant take spicy food = )

The first post i wana write about 2010 are ~~complaints~~! Haha. Not really complaints actually, just think that people outside should grow more mature and improve themself as they grow older:

1. Please say thank you when u receive gift from others/ got treated/ after your friend gave you a ride home! you must be thinking that saying thank you is so easy right? Why should young adults like us need to learn how to say thank you? NO, you just don’t get it. Some people at our age are still too stingy to say the word “thank you”. They just walk away like they deserve it.

2. Please be punctual! Especially when it comes to group meetings/ outings. (I know la u guys are Malaysians, but can’t you people just throw that kind of norm behind? Hello, its 2010 already!)

3. Please don’t let your friend who is picking you up wait long! Do you know that if your friend is willing to give you a ride, it’s because they give you ‘face’, because you are their friend. So how can you treat your friend like a driver? Reached your house, need to wait for you to take bath, telling you that he/she just woke up when you are rushing to reach their house and woke up earlier + wait for them to brush up + and take breakfast.... WTH man. Hello, baik panggil Ahmad!

4. Please be a responsible person! I know Ffk is very common among young adults like us. But i think ffk should have a limit. Can’t you just text your friend a day/ few hours earlier, telling that u can’t make it? SMS-ing your friend few minutes earlier doesn’t help AT ALL ok. You just wasted their precious time and it reflects what kind of attitude u have!

5. Please don’t be queen/king! Friends are to treasure + tolerate each other. People with good attitude always being taken a ride by those who owns king/queen attitude. The so called ‘king/queen’ attitude is like wanting others to follow their plan without concerning about others inconvenience!

So, these are some of the MOST BASIC stuff I think a young adult should improve on. HAPPY 2010!!!

The Singaporeans are having their summer holiday too. So all of them came up to M'sia to reunite. The girls stayed over at my place. Sometimes, it's fun joining the kids, you'll be surprised that you are able to learn some values of life from them = )
